Ideapad Y560 Touchpad mouse not working

Hello,

I have recently purchased an Ideapad y560 laptop. I recieved it in the laptop today with great excitement. I boot it up and to my dismay the touchpad mouse did not work! I tried reinstalling the driver, I rebooted the computer, I took out the battery and put it back in, and I made sure to check that the touchpad was enabled, but nothing is working. Can someone help with my problem, I would prefer not to send it back to get it fixed...
