So yeah, like subject suggests, I'd like to ask you all a question about it. I don't see a post about when is it coming out, and where. Because I'm from Europe, to be exact Serbia, and everything in the technology world rather passes by our country, and I see on Lenovo official site that its coming out in June 2012. But, I think that day is really just North America release date and not world. So I want to ask, when is estimate time it will come to Europe, and rest of the world?
Thank you. Because I looked at Y570 ideapad from lenovo, and its looking good but since its not that much left to wait till Y580 I think I would just kill myself later because I bought it and I could have got Y580. ![]()

Well, I don't bother with things like number of issues. Every lap top has them, and if I get a buggy lap top than so be it, but I will not have any regrets of buying Y570 when new version with 3rd gen cpu (that is more energy efficiend, and thusly reduces heating) and a lot better graphic card. The computer will be used mostly for gaming, and I know everyone will say to get a desktop, but the thing is, Im a university student, and not in my home town, so I go back-forth every now and then, and I travel a lot so I want to have a computer that I can take with me. I have a lap top, but I can use it just for internet, movies, and very light gaming, so I want to replace that. ![]()
And yeah, someone will say to get better, gaming lap top, but I can't go more than Y580 announced cost so it will have to cut it. ![]()
Any other answers? I hate it that lenovo does not update news. I know they said it will be released in june, but its 11th of May, june is 20 days from now, they should at least give us a date, or say if there will be a delay, and I know there will be a delay since they first moved release date for Y580 to june.

Over the years from experience from when Lenovo was IBM then sold to Lenovo the bugs aren't really that bad. The quality is pretty high when it comes to Lenovo. My original IBM ThinkPad still runs well when I get curious but it's ancient tech. Anyway I just ordered the Y480 and just sent an e-mail asking them if they could hold/pause the order till the Y580 came out. I'm a college student so if it's within budget I'll get it and if they specs and projected price are true it's actually a good deal. The Y480s are a good deal too the one I just ordered has a 1TB HDD + 32GB SSD for around $950. I'm hoping pre-orders will go up soon but I'm not sure if Lenovo does that.
