Internet connection

I'm having trouble staying on the net on my Y560p

The Network Adaptors in the device manager Look like this:

Broadcom Net Link Gigabit Eithernet

Intel WiFi Link 1000 BNG

Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adaptor #2

Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adaptor #3

I can get on once, but when I close IE, when I try to get back on, IE keeps looking but nothing happens. All the while, my connection is OK. It does the same thing wired, which leads me to believe it might be IE. Please help. Otherwise the laptop works perfectly.

tried alternate browser such as opera or firefox?

That would not be fixing the problem, also I use windows live for email, contacts, and calendar, if I disable IE it doesn't work and I don't want 2 browsers, however I have tried Chrome, same thing. Before I did a clean install IE 9 worked flawlessly. Can you tell me if I have the right network adaptors installed? This would be a step forward in troubleshooting.

I installed my internet security program, and re installed it, and it seems to be working fine for the time being maybe that was it , I hope so, thank you for the help.
