Is it safe to remove Oasis 2 Service 1.0 DDNi ?

I found an interesting Program that came preinstalled from Lenovo. From what I can gather it was installed to make using our computers more user friendly, yet some others searching seem to feel its a form of spyware. Anyway has anyone uninstalled this program, and if so HOW and did you have problems with Pc after deleting the program?  Note that this program on my computer can be found in Add Remove programs list, as well as in windows explorer under programs64.

any help or ideas about this would be grateful.
