Re: Jumppy Cursor (Does not have to do with typing) Z560

That post seems to be talking about movment while typing for the most part which is not a problem for me, it is only when I touch the touch pad that I have this problem. Also, I have tried all drivers, from the one Lenovo suggests to the mfg's to the default that windows uses and all are a bust.

have you tried "remove current drivers, restart your computer and let windows install the drivers automatically"?

Re: Jumppy Cursor (Does not have to do with typing) Z560

Yes, I did a clean uninstall from safe mode using a USB mouse, I then let windows install its default trackpad drivers, problem is still the same, though it was a bit less, and at time to time, it seemed to work fine. If the laptop was being used from a cold boot, it would seem to work fine, then let it sit while I went out to eat, come back and it was all jumppy again. At first I was thinking it was a heat problem of some sort, but the laptop runs quite cool, almost never going over 59c. I am starting to think it's a bad touchpad, hardware wise.
