Laptop FPS Lag

[ Edited ]

Ive recently bought a new Lenovo IdeaPad Z480 notebook.

SPECS:
MS Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
Intel Core i7-3612QM CPU @ 2.10GHz
12.0GB RAM

Intel HD Graphics 4000
Nvidia GeForce GT 630M

Im trying to run a game called Special Force, heres the link to its requirements: http://sf.dfigames.com/download/ (scroll down)

As you can see from the requirements, my laptop could run this game without lagging.

So here is what ive done;

Tried disabling the Intel HD Graphics but no difference.

Run CCleaner, GameBooster.
Updated my NVIDIA graphics to a BETA version since i cant update to the official latest due to an error saying its not compatible.

Looking at the specs, i should be running the game smoothly but all i get is FPS laggs and slow load.

Any1 got any solutions to this? If youre recommending a PC to me, i already have one. I juz wanted a laptop to play on the go ;)
I'd appreciate any help :')

hi najib333,

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community,

Just a quick check, do you have Mcafee installed on your machine? Currently there is something that is causing a conflict across multiple manufacutrers and models with the MCafee application. what i suggest is for you to uninstall the McAfee Software first and le  me know of the changes.

On another note, you may want to update the engery mamagement software and set it to hig Performance and see for the changes there too.

DO let me know.,

regards

Well i had posted my problems on my other thread and i think i know why

I went to rate my system and this is what i get - http://i50.tinypic.com/24cbju1.png

When i bought this laptop, they show me that the system rating was much higher for the graphics. Having a rating of 2.9 for graphics, this explains why i lagg in low graphics games.

So, my problem is now, how do i fix this?

Re: Laptop FPS Lag

Do you have your system set up to use the Nvidia video card instead of integrated when gaming?
