Laptop Y560 unable to boot with "an unexpected I/O error"

I had purchased a Y560 laptop < 6 months back. Just today whil trying to restart my pc i am getting an unexpect i/o error oin system startup. When I try to fix the issue as recommended in the start up option i get the same issue. Please help me what I can do. I did nt get any recovery / boot disk when i purchased the laptop.

can you tell us did you install any hardware/software recently?
you can use one key recover to create recovery discs by the way.
