Note that It requires "DSE" presence in order to function properly. You can read about this here.
Installation:
1. Uninstall your previous drivers via Windows "programs and features". Reboot.
2. Install DSE. Reboot.
3. Run package. Pick up your notebook model. Install configured drivers. Reboot.
4. Enjoy!

I'm glad I found this thread. I'm not using the version mentioned in this thread, instead, I use ATi Catalyst 12.1 which can be found by going to the main site of the website mentioned about the DSE.
Been using it for 2 days and found not any single bugs/problems.
The latest version is like all in one package. It will detect DSE, install it when if it is needed so you don't need to download it separately. It's really simple to install. I really recommend this driver to upgrade our ATi display driver.

Dude you do realise that there are newer versions of both Catalyst 11.8, & 8.881.0 driver on the official site?

That site seems as dodgy as the country that dude posted them from and if can't get your head around getting the right drivers, that's your problem. The official drivers are 8.93 FYI.

That's why this thread is created. If official driver can be installed on my Y460 why would I bother trying unofficial driver?
