Lenovo B560 video memory size problem

Hi all.

My notebook configuration:

15.6 HD LED Glare/Intel Core i3-380M 2.53GHz/ 4G(1066)-DDR3/ 500G(SATA-9MM/ 5400)/ Integrated Intel GMA HD/DVD+/-RW/Cam 0.3Mp/6cell 2.2A/WiFi/4-1 Multi-card Reader (SD/MMC/MS/MS Pro/XD/SD Pro)

The problem is with video memory size. It's always 64 mb.. no more.....

When I have same problem like this with my old notebook acer, I just load new wersion of BIOS and update it. after that I can change video memory size in BIOS.

Now tell me please, how I can change video memory size for my integrated video Integrated Intel GMA HD ?

for example, to 128 mb or 256 mb video memory.

More details...:

1) Intel Core i3-380M (2.53 ГГц) Intel HM55

2) Windows 7 x64

Could you help me?

A lot of thanks.

P.S/ Sorry for my bad English)

Re: Lenovo B560 video memory size problem

i remember similar issue(s) before but as i remember bios update is necessary. also, you can try to install more ram, it may help.

please, press windows + r, type "dxdiag" and post the memory information on display tab.

Re: Lenovo B560 video memory size problem

No. It's only single video adapter present - Intel HD graphics
there are no other video devices or unknown devices.
Only Intel HD

Re: Lenovo B560 video memory size problem

try this: press windows + r, type "msconfig" > boot > advanced options > check maximum memory > increase it > restart your computer and check if it works.

Re: Lenovo B560 video memory size problem

when I set this value to 128, 256 etc - System do not load, I boot in safe mode and set this value to default.
Then I set this value to 3800, 3400 etc.. but size of video memory stay on 64 mb.
Could you help me to resolve this problem via another way?
Thank you.
