Lenovo IdeaPad y730 Halo Lighting

Hi,

is there some way to turn off "halo lighting" from BIOS or a "hardware" way ?

I was not really aware of this feature when I bought this notebook and I cannot use it for some reasons.

Only disassembling will help.

You can turn it off only by software in OS.

Thanks for your answer, is there a way to do it without losing warranty ?

I'm aware of software option but i sometimes use other OS on it.

I do not know wararnty conditions in Poland. In Russia you may fully disassemble laptop and you will not lose warranty until you break something.

Can you tell me where to find this in the software?  I am using vista home 32 bit.  I went to the hardware and cannot find it there.

I think the path would be something like "Start > Lenovo > Halo Lighting."
