Lenovo Ideapad U350 WiFi Connection Issue

Hey guys, I'd just like to address an issue with my Lenovo Ideapad U350.

I had it since Nov 2009, and one major problem I have with it is connecting to WiFi.

The laptop can connect to WiFi only if the WiFi source is super close (like 1 to 12 inches away only). Even if its half a meter away from the WiFI source, it has problems connecting to it. Any solution/s to this? 

P.S. I have another laptop and other WiFi-enabled devices which can connect to the WiFi source even at long distances. (Like 10 meters and farther, or even across rooms)...Why do these devices connect to the WiFi seamlessly (even at such long distances) while my Lenovo Ideapad U350 has problems connecting to WiFi even at (somewhat) short distances?

I'm having the same issue thinking about taking it to a repair shop bc everything I tried hasn't worked open to any suggestions

sounds like antenna issue. it'd be better you to call lenovo support line.

Did you evr find a fix for this?  I have a similar issue with my Lenovo Ideapad.
