Lenovo Screen

After replacing the motherboard with an integrated solution, the machine is powered and displaying the Lenovo logo however it is refusing to boot. After pressing F2 it loadsand reads

"AMIBIOS (C) 2005 American Megatrends, Inc.

BIOS Date: 04/21/08 Ver: 06CN30WW

CPU: Intel (R) Pentium (R) CPU T4200 @ 2.00GHz"

"Entering setup..

The MCH is operating with DDR2-667/CL5 in dual-channel interleaved mode.

Initializing USB Controllers.. Done.

2040MB ok"

Any ideas to solving this

Re: Lenovo Screen

Please post your laptop model, and is new
motherboard different type than original?
(Graphics especially)

Meanwhile try loading default settings in bios, save and exit.
(If you can get into bios)

Re: Lenovo Screen

The laptop is Y510, Model: 15303. The previous motherboard had a 8400m GS with 128mb of ram. Also the cpu originally was an intel T8300 @ 2.4Ghz.. Don't know how to load default settings as after pressing F2 it hangs, just like after pressing the power and the lenovo screen appears. All other components are still the same like the intel wireless n, same modem, same 2 gb ram memory banks same optical drive.

Re: Lenovo Screen

Please see if you can enter bios (F2) with hard drive removed.

If so, set to default, save and exit, enter bios again, shutdown.
Then re-install HD, and try boot.

If you can enter bios with HD removed, but can not boot
with HD in, you may need to re-install OS.
