For the most part, my laptop works fine. However, sometimes the laptop will suddenly decide that it's time to turn off the cpu fan - which results in the cpu getting hot - which results in death / crash. Cpu sensors are showing that the temperature is increasing.
It seems like this problem mainly happens after sleeping. When sleeping ,the fan turns off, when the computer is waken up, it dosen't start the fan back up.

@yigit
Thanks for the input. I'll try that out asap.
My Linear Algebra Final is tomorrow, followed by a Strength of Materials Final thursday, followed by a CAD final. So I'll be alittle busy for the next 3 days.

Okay. The problem seems to be fixed.
My friend told me to try updateing the firmware on my SSD. I'm not sure if thats what fixed it.
Thanks again, for the help.

I think this problem isn't depend on the temperature of cpu or cooling. But you are right, it is depend on the sleeping (Standby state) It happened at many user, read the forum. I have got the same situation with my new U400, and I can do nothing....yet.
