@Kevin... i was just wondering... I just got a new lenovo v570 for the 3rd time... I had to return the last two because of freezing issues... I am going to uninstall BioExcess right now and reinstall the one on-line...
I hope that Lenovo v570 will work great and last me at least 6 years

Hi!
By the way, I didn't end up uninstalling BioExcess and reinstalling because I realized that the latest BioExcess version on the Lenovo website was the same as that already installed on my v570. Also, since I haven't really had any big problems (knocking on wood, of course!) with my laptop, I've decided to leave everything as is for now.
Good luck with your 3rd v570. Hopefully it's the charm.![]()

Easy to tell - what's the ver on your bioexcess?
also go to D:\Application\Fingerprint right click on bioexcess.exe and tell me the internal date? (Jan 10, 11 or something)

Version 7.0.67.0. Is this the latest? It was what I had right from the box.
My computer is in French so the dates in the properties of BioExcess in the order they appear are:
Créé le: 16 décembre 2010
Modifié le: 13 décembre 2010
Dernier accès le: 16 décembre 2010
I think it's date created, date modified and date last accessed, but then how could the modified date be earlier than it's creation date? Am I misunderstanding the French? haha!

I think 67 is the latest.
for the date, right click on the bioexcess.exe, choose properties, and look in Digital signatures tab for the timestamp.

Hmm, it says 13 December 2010 there.

should say 24 jan 2011 for 67, BUT, I did not check the ver of the old one before I deleted it. so the old one may have said 67, too.
if you're not having a prob, I would do nothing.
I only had it once or so a week. for others it was a killer. If you start getting it, just uninstall, boot, and install. no biggie
Yes, I do LOVE this laptop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
