I have the B570 and un-installing Veriface did it for me. Never used it anyway. I use bioexcess and did not want to un-install it permanently, but it appears unintalling it has worked for some. I've been following this thread for weeks and really want to thank all of you for your help. Nothing previously worked for me. I tried un-installing and reinstalling bioexcess and even did a factory restore. Nothing worked in the long run. Read a thread and it advised that an employee from Best Buy said to un-install Veriface. Its worked flawlessly for weeks. If your at the end of your rope give it a try, it worked for me.

Interesting about Veriface - never used it but I'll have to keep that in mind if I have more probs!

My computer froze again. This one is the fourth time. I am out of the 14 day return thing. Do you think best buy will let me return it? Bioexcess should be updated. Has deleting Veriface still worked for you?

@ Kris... it did it again... :-( Now I am out of the 14 day return thing... grrr... my computer should have come with the most updated BioExcess...
Have you had another Please Wait freeze up?

Yeah, about 5 posts abouve yours you will see where I got 2 in a row and just uninstalled the darn thing.....
Uh, yeah, I think they're still building them with the original. But eventually even the updated one broke for me.

Okay so I am new to this post, but this V570 Lenovo laptop is brand new and I can only log on in safe mode. Its always freezing at the blue screen. The button you are supposed to use to restore has never worked. Tried hitting it, holding it in and nothing has ever happened. Can someone please help me!

It worked for a while. Just the last few days its been giving me this blue screen at the startup. Where it says Lenovo and its waiting. NOT the blue screen of death.

that's slightly different from previous post. What does the blue screen say? and when you google that error code, what does it say?

There is no error code. It just sits there. Its the regular startup screen, the blue background with the Lenovo name and it "normally" says Please wait with a circle that spins and the computer boots up. Its done this before just randomly but now I can't get it to stop. I know when its not going to start up cause the circle by Please Wait is not spinning. I was using the finger print thing to sign on. And I read the posts about uninstalling it, but it does give me this error when I try to uninstall....Error 1719. Windows installer service could not be accessed. Contact your support personnel to verify that it is properly registered and enabled. **Also. I like the fingerprint signon. So if its possible to get my computer working again and keep that it would be great. But if not just try to help me get this thing back
