follow the instructions.

Uninstall the bioexcess you have installed.

download the later one from Lenovo.

Install it.

Re: Lenovo V570 Boot-up problems

When you reinstalled the bioexcess, did you need to download the EgisTec Fingerprint Driver as well?

Re: Lenovo V570 Boot-up problems

sorry you still have problem.  If you uninstall bioexcess, does prob go away?  if not you have other prob - maybe hotfix mentioned earlier in this thread.  Assure all MS fixes on.  Again, sorry.  wish I could help.  I'm just a little end user.

Re: Lenovo V570 Boot-up problems

@Kris  what is all MS fixes?

I did the bioexcess thing but the please wait freezing still persists.  I am about to just return lenovo v570 to Best Buy for the third time.  I like the computer, but I can't waste my money on a product that does not work.

Any help would be appreciated...

Thank you!!!

Re: Lenovo V570 Boot-up problems

@ Kevin I uninstalled bioexcess on the new lenovo and reinstalled it and I still have please wait freezes.... :-/  Its annoying... I don't know what I am going to do... if this laptop worked then it would be great... but I might have to give the Asus u43 a try...  :-(

Let me know if anyone has anyother ideas...
