( for updating power management, un-install it, restart your computer and install it )
I updated uninstalled and installed both power management and ethernet drivers.
But I am still getting this error from system logs
*************
Error
The machine-default permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{A4199E55-EBB9-49E5-AF1A-7A5408B2E206}
to the user NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE SID (S-1-5-20). This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool.

Is there any way I could resolve this issue?

I resolved that error by following this
http://whatdoesthiserrormean.com/errors/3380
No more error logs in event viewer.
Let's see my laptops hangs from now on.
Thanks a lot for the help.

Today laptop hanged again, below is the error log
*****
Error
\Device\ACPIEC: The embedded controller (EC) hardware didn't respond within the timeout period. This may indicate an error in the EC hardware or firmware, or possibly a poorly designed BIOS which accesses the EC in an unsafe manner. The EC driver will retry the failed transaction if possible.
I had to make a force shut down and then re-boot again.

try to use y550 power management instead of y430
you may need bios update ( there's also available bios update for y430 but for vista. )

Is it alright to use y550 power management in y430?
There is no Win XP BIOS update, what should I do now?
Thanks
