Hello,
I have installed Windows XP on my lenovo y430, installed all necessary drivers as well. However it keeps hanging, even Ctl+Alt+Del doesn't help, I need to restart laptop forcefully.
How could I resolve this issue?
Regards

I did download all necassary drivers, but Mass Storage Controller and Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus are unknown.
Not sure why laptop hangs at times!

here the drivers for xp : modem - mass storage controller - hd audio
do not forget to install power management
possible reason is your windows installation may be corrupted. try to make a clean install for windows.
also you're having trouble with windows updates or drivers.
by the way, can you send more information about your laptop or at least model number?
