Hey, I was just wondering... I also have a Y430 and am desperate to downgrade to Windows XP. So yea I was wondering what did you use/how did you format the hardrive and install XP.

Hi,

 

You could insert Win XP cd and then you  could re-format . make sure you get all the drivers for Win XP.
