How long have you had your Y480? I've noticed that when it was first listed, the card was described as the 640m (they added the LE last week I think). It seems that some owners were able to get refunds or exchanges to other machines based on the "apparent misunderstanding."

Please check my Diablo III mini-review for Y480, I have the 1TB+SSD model.

They're all 640M LE, there's no other option right now.
As of this morning Lenovo has removed the LE designation from their listing page:

However, the PDF spec sheet (naturally) is unchanged:

As always, we'll have to wait for a lucky new Y480 owner to confirm if it really is the true 640m -- and if it's Kepler, even better!

I ordered one for my son (he's going out to college) two weeks ago, and despite inumerous calls to a so called supervisor, so far I don't have a shipping date set for it.
I am guessing that this delay has something to do with the Video Graphics specs change.
I'll post the chipset when I get it.

Matt;
I'm counting on the drinks. Lol
NVidia's website lists the Y480 as a GT640M laptop, not LE. I am guessing again that they are done with the LE..

Devon64327;
I am an IT consultant and always recommend Lenovo to my customers. One of the reasons I recommend them is their excellent support. If you really get the le version, give them a call and explain the issue. This is your best bet.
Please post what you get.
Regards.

The laptop is great. The backlit keyboard is the best I ever used and performance with a SSD is amazing. Only thing to know is you can't play games on battery (see this thread http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-Y-U-V-and-Z-se
