Hi,
I am using a Lenovo Y530 with Windows 7, and my laptop just shut down while I was using it. After I connected to a charger, it gives me an error message in the battery icon that says "consider replacing your battery."
What the heck!! This laptop isn't even a year old! Anyone have this same problem, or any solutions?

there are knowing issues with battery on windows 7 or may be your battery is about to die.
by the way, did you install the power management drivers?
let ****** check with his counterparts in service department for more info. at the same time, do you mind provide him some info so he could check it out? send him a private message as it's not good to reveal serial number in public.
machine type model
machine serial number
battery's serial number
full name
phone number
email address
case number (reference number for your service)

This same problem has just come up on my computer today. Did you find out how to fix it or what the problem was? I'm hoping that buying a new battery wasn't the solution....
Thanks
