Aside from the BSOD and random graphics driver crashes, I've run into a problem that I've never seen or heard of before. My keyboard types numbers. It's not numlock, and it's not the keys with the numlock fn either. The entire keyboard. This will happen randomly and result in all inputs on the keyboard resulting in sequential numbers. For example, typing "my laptop is disappointing me" will result in 12 345678 90 1234567890123 45. This has happened in browser repeatedly. Refreshing or reopening the browser usually resolved the issue.
However, the problem has gotten worse recently. When playing games, keystrokes without fail register as numbers. This means that instead of moving around, the character will stand and switch weapons/ do whatever the number keys are bonded to. I've tested this with different programs and have had the same issues. Reopening the program and rebooting have failed. I have done a system restore that resolved the problem for a short while, but the issue returned after a reboot. I don't really want to have to return this or reformat it and am looking for any possible solutions.

I have this exact same problem as the OP. Any other suggestions to fix it? I would really rather not send my computer in.
