I have a Y570 with Bluetooth. My OS is Windows 7 Home 64-bit. I can pair with my cellphone, HTC Thunderbolt, and headset, 9xx Backbeat. The problem is I cannot connect to either item over Bluetooth. They show in my devices. There is no "connect" tab or button. I right-click but no connect option. I double click and not connect option. I even went to the Lenovo driver site to restall the drivers and got an error 1935 there. I was able to reinstall the broadcom drivers through other means but still cannot connect over bluetooth. This is a brand new laptop only a week old and I doubt, hopefully, the bluetooth card is bad. Any help or suggestions?

after you activate bluetooth, can you confirm that you don't have any unknown/not-installed device under device manager first?
( right click my computer > manage > device management )
also, restarting your cellphone may help you to solve your issue.
for pairing connection, you can take a look at the thread below:

When trying to install the device driver from the Lenovo website for a Y570 with Bluetooth running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, I get the following error:
Error 1935. An error occurred during the installation of assembly 'policy.8.0.Micrcsoft.VC80.ATL,type="win32-policy"
And then it rolls back. The driver from the Lenovo website says it is for 64-bit Windows 7. This is the website from where I got the driver: http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/us/en/DriversDow

I downloaded and installed your driver from your link into a U160 and it downloaded and installed fine. It wouldn't pair with my iphone but that's only because that driver isn't for my U160, but it did install fine.
I installed it as admin, used google chrome, didn't do anything special, in fact my bluetooth was on when I downloaded your driver. I just went and reinstalled my correct driver the same way as yours and it installed fine and it pairs again with my iphone.
It sounds like you have something running in the background that's in conflict with the install. See if anything at the link helps.

The issue has been resolved. I found the solution from here: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/T61-and-prior-T-series
It seemed that Microsoft Visual C++ was causing a conflight. Uninstalled all instances of Microsoft Visual C++ and the Lenovo Bluetooth driver. Then, reinstalled the Lenovo Bluetooth Driver from the Lenovo website and then Microsoft Visual C++ and this resolved the issue.

Z570 win 7 64bit crashed and when restarted bluetooth didn't respond saying no Bluetooth device installed.
To fix it I ultimately unplugged the AC power and disconnected the Battery let it sit for a minute and restarted. Presto - Bluetooth is back and works fine. I've had to do this twice now and both times it worked.
