Lenovo v570 recovery discs

trying to create recovery discs from One key recovery and getting message after inserting new dvd disc "The disc is not the type you specified,please change the disc (i'm using new Memorex dvd+rdl 8.5 GB discs) what to do with this?

i think you need to create the recovery media using single layer discs?

try DVD-R

That's what i used.

Philips is a good brand.
