Lenovo y 570 design flaw?

Hi guys i have a small question. I have found out that my IdeaPad y570 is quite loud when its running. But somehow when i press this button [ < or > doesnt matter same key] it blocks airflow that is going throught inner circuit or something. The result is it stops making alot of noise. When i let go of this key(< or >) it begins to make alot of noises again.

So have some of you found out the same problem with your IdeaPad y570 (is it a design flaw?) or am I the only one to have this sorts od problems.

that should not happen at all and this is the first time i'm hearing about it.

i suggest that you send the unit to the service center for them to check on it.
