Y560 Screen Brightness Problem [ Edited ]

@yigit; I already did. All I had to do was uninstall ALL ati drivers and software, then disable switchable graphics on BIOS. That solved the Energy Management problem and I even installed latest drivers from AMD flawlessly.


As for the user with the Z560, I didn't know that model also had issues. But if you'd like to take the time to do my method, worse case scenario you might get a BSOD which wont hurt after Windows recovers. Good luck!

Visit it for latest updates of drivers for audio/video for your y560!
u will find there latest amd and realtek drivers and many more advices with your y560! give it a try!

I was bothered by the same problem as well.

Finally I figured out that if you go to the lower right corner of your taskbar and click on the Energy Management Button (orange button),

then go to settings (choose the middle one from the three icons on the bottom, the gear shape one),

then choose the second tab which says Smart Control 

then uncheck the **bleep** check mark

then you are good to go

Engineering have recommended to update the Y560 AMD video driver, appreciate those who are having this issue to update their driver and see if it helps.
