Leonovo Y560 Dead BIOS Problem

It may be best to cut your losses, and ask how much they'd charge to reflash. If you have the budget to go get a USB floppy, I believe this method will work:

The thing i released is the same thing you posted BUT with the fresh components witch are giving the chance to use USB Flash Stick instead of USB Floppy...+ i dont see how i can put 6 mb bios on floppy...only if cut it.

once again,the archive i released before (2 nd page) is based on your link also. Archive i released is the most fresh accumulation of this ideas.

Offtop...so...a bit update...after more than 2 weeks of wating the support to sort this problem out, they finally responded me and told me that my notebook will arrive at friday...

I flashed my BIOS today to the 09-15-2010 version today and was not able to boot the computer, it would post and then I would get a string of babble on the top of the screen.  I re-flashed the BIOS with the previous version and it finished flashing but did not reboot for 10 minutes, the power button was no longer responsive so I killed all power to the device, the power button is still unresponsive.  Is my laptop dead? If so, what recourse do I have for a still-under-warranty laptop?

SO, actually now you can try my archive.

Short manual:
1. Prepare the usb flash stick (2 gb is prefered). Format in FAT or FAT32
2. Use WINCRIS.EXE for creating the Phoenix Crysis Recovery USB.
3. Replace BIOS.WPH on flash with LEONOVO's one, like 59.
DONT FORGET to rename it to BIOS.WPH.
4. Now start the hard part as there is no reliable source...But what i figured out is that:
4.1 Remove the battery & power cord from laptop.
4.2 Connect the USB Flash Stick to any of USB.
4.2 Hold "WIN+B", "fn+B", "ESC" (Supposingly, this is the needed trigger...but in Leonovo Y560 case Verified Trigger is unknown).
Then connect the power cord to laptop and while holding the trigger buttons hit the Power Button.
4.3 After a while ~5 sec, release trigger buttons...

Well, after that its believed that the Flashing Process will start..You wount be able to see it (or will you? by flashing lights?), so you ll have to wait like 10~15 min and then God Knows What..

I would test it myself if i could..
