Dear Lenovo community,
I have a Lenovo Ideapad Z360 with a Nvidia Geforce G310M with Optimus technology. I installed every driver shipped with the cd (Windows 7, 32bit).
I tried to play the following games: HL2, Portal, HL2 E1&E2, Call of Duty 4 modern warfare and Saw. In nearly every game, the computer gets stuck for 10-15s randomly. Often the game crashes after such a stuck.
If I disable Optimus in BIOS, everything works well, but I don't have the power of the Nvidia GPU.
I tried to install the driver for the G310M from Nvidia (258.96), but then I'll get the message: There are no appropriate drivers for you hardware. ![]()
How to solve this problem?
thanks in advance

try to install or/and update drivers from this page
and do not forget to install second display control driver, too

I've already installed the latest drivers (checked the driver version using the device manager). MuteSync Software is up to date as well. Today I tested the games on Windows 7 64bit, but I had the same problems.

un-install all the graphic drivers on safe mode, restart your computer and try to install drivers from nvidia.
if it doesn't work, repeat the process again for lenovo drivers.
mean time, i'll try to find out if there's any other solution.
edit: by the way, did you update direct-x?
while playing games, make sure you select high performance.
and one more thing, can you check application errors?
( right click my computer > manage > events logs > applications )

Thank you for you response yigit.
Unfortunately installing the drivers like you said didn't work either. The logs are empty and directx is up to date (9.0c).

possible driver issue.
another thread has been posted about the same issue here, i suggested him to perform clean windows installation - even it didn't work for him- it may work for you.

Already read this thread, but I thought that it wouldn't be relevant, because he has an ATI graphics card. Maybe it is a problem with the intel drivers?
I already tried a clean Windows 7 installation, didn't work ![]()
Is there a trick to install the new nvidia drivers (256.xxx) ? I get a warning, that the hardware is not compatible, but the G310M is supported in the list!

Alright, found it for ya!
32 bit: http://www.nvidia.com/object/optimus-win7-x32-note
64 bit: http://www.nvidia.com/object/optimus-win7-x64-note
They are specific to this card, with the Optimus technology for GPU switching. Hope this works!
