Y570 needs different AC adapter - system taken to different country

Welcome to the forum...

It sounds like you are saying that your Y570 came with a ThinkPad adapter?  Was the system possible purchased as a refurbished system from the outlet, rather than as a new system?

What country are you in now?

Your friend could order (purchase) a spare adapter and send it over to you - here is a link the the 19V IdeaPad adapter.

http://www.lenovospareparts.com/36001681--Adapter-ADP-90RH-B-19V-474A_p_103.html

If your IdeaPad qualifies for service in your country, you could contact support and explain the situation and see if they will send the correct adapter to you in exchange for the adapter you have now.

Best regards,

Mark

Re: Y570 needs different AC adapter - system taken to different country

Thanks Mark and AndyP  for sharing your information

my machine was a new machine and it wasn’t outlet or refurbish .

I'm contact to the Lenovo service in my country and they don’t accept warranty of another corporation .(they only accept  warranty of some machine that they import to country )

And you get me a link of spare adapter , but its not my machine adaptor (19 V and 6.5A)??!!

How can I contact  to warranty service and explain the situation  in the USA ???

Is there hope They give me a free of charge adapter?(It was their mistake)

:smileytongue:Please forgive me for bad writing. I recently learned English *

Re: Y570 needs different AC adapter - system taken to different country

What country are you in now?   I can give you the number for the US 877-453-6686 however, service does not ship parts internationally.

The Y570 is a new machine, so the service part was not on the web for sale yet, however, many IdeaPads use common adapters.  The link I provided was to an adapter for the Y560 which I believe should work on your system - 19V 6.5A which is the spec that you stated you needed in your original post.

I understand that your system was purchased in the US and you state that it was new.  Was it purchased directly from Lenovo?  Perhaps your family has the order number?  This could help us understand more and help us order a correct adapter for you.

If the system was purchased from a reseller, it is possible the system had previously been opened and the wrong adapter accidentally packaged with it. ?

We will really need more information about where you are now (contact information and shipping address) in order to try to arrange a replacement adapter to be provided either through support in your country, or through some other path.

Please send the requested information via private message.

Many thanks !

Mark
