Possibility of manually installing graphics card into V570

Hey,

 

I have recently purchased a Lenovo V570 From Best Buy with an i5 2410m and Intel HD 3000. When browsing the web, I came across the option for the V570 to have a dedicated Nvidia 525m Graphics Card. I was wondering if it is possible to purchase this graphics card and manually install it into this laptop?

welcome to the forum!

 

V570 with nvidia 525M graphics have the GPU soldered to the motherboard.   you would need to replace the entire motherboard for this upgrade.   in doing so you would void your warranty.

I'm in the same situation and I was wondering if it is possible to send my Laptop to replace the motherboard to have the NVIDIA graphics card?
