Return U400 after opening the back cover.

I'm very dissapointed with Lenovo's product quality. I tried to open the back cover of my U400 and it didn't go very well. I followed the instructions exactly as mentioned on the official videos, taking every single step carefully. However, it's impossible to remove the bottom cover without breaking the plastic tabs. I have yet to hear from someone who has managed to do flawleslly.

Anyway, besides this, the battery life is nowhere near 7 hours as Lenovo claims. I can get maybe 4 tops if the screen brightness is turned all the way down, no apps runnig, and wifi radio and bluetooth turned off.

I haven't changed any internal components or anything. Would Lenovo accept this return?

Re: Return U400 after opening the back cover.

Why did you try to open the back cover? It would be really difficult to get a return on the machine if you broke something.

Re: Return U400 after opening the back cover.

I was planning to upgrade the hard drive. The point is that Lenovo doesn't make clear that opening the back cover will break the tabs. All notebooks in the market can be pretty much opened.

Anyway, a bit dissapointed with this laptop.
