" firstly, run \slidenav\slidenav 2.0 tool\install_flash_player_10_active_x.exe (in8stw07ww5.exe)
then, run \slidenav\driver\installation\installation.exe (in8stw08ww5.exe) "
Did you download package yourself? It Does Not have mentioned lines. Because CHINA version of Slidenav has it in single package, european version - does not (Anyway, the second package is just adobe flash plugin).
Means you are wrong.
Up.1: My bad, the links apparently got fixed.
Up.2: Nothing is fixed. You are still wrong.
"it seems your system doesn't support y560's slide bar."
You are wrong. It might work. Even without special intervention.
It sais so, because you are lack of synaptic's slide.dll (or similar, dont remember).
Follow my lead here:
1. Install y560 Synaptics driver (it has this dll).
2. Install y560 Lenovo Power Management.
3. Install y560 Slidenav.
THIS actually might work.
Try and post result.

I'm on my way to discovering how to mod this installer.
I extracted the package, and found that the installer first looks at the app SyDriverDetectorX64.exe or the 32 bit equivilent, before running. Lenovo's site is slow, but I'm going to try replacing that driver detector with the one in the Y550's installer. I just don't know the returned values, so it's easier to do it this way.
