Tiger Direct Dropped the Ball

I had ordered the Y710 with the 2.5 processor and 500GB hard drive from Tiger Direct.  All through the order process, it showed it was available, however after confirming my order, I got an e-mail stating it was on back order.   That was on 01-22-08, and although their customer service assured me the would receive their shipment on 02-01-08, it has yet to show up.

So I cancelled my order.  Since I couldn't find this model with any other retailer (only the 1.66 and smaller hard drive), I've ordered a different brand from a different manufacturer.  I was really looking forward to getting this laptop and I am bitterly disappointed that it appears that the better configuration is disappearing.

Re: Tiger Direct Dropped the Ball

Sorry to hear you didn't get what you wanted, shame that Tiger Direct let you down.

Andy
