My laptop, about every other boot, or every time after waking from sleep mode, will connect to the modem, ping, and network connection and sharing center maps network. But it will not go anywhere. It is a wireless network, but my girlfriend's V 570 works perfectly on the same wireless network. Please help, as I otherwise love this machine. I have spent a couple of hours with tech support with Netgear and have the router configured correctly.

Thanks for the reply, I have the latest wifi driver IN1WLN75WW5, but I can't update the bios because I do audio editing and there is a known problem where Y460p's and 560p's can't playback .wav files without studdering using any bios newer than 17 http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-Y-U-V-and-Z-se
