U300s mouse cursor is jumping around when charging

yeap your problem is due to the CPU throttling, it should be fixed with the upcoming new BIOS firmware update.

Do you know how long for new BIOS will be released?

not sure the exact date, but quite a few people are having this problem with CPU throttling when battery is charging.

Sorry to bother you again,

I chat with the customer service, and told them my problem.

And they advise me to send service centre in my home country (Malaysia),

right now I'm in Australia. 

I thought I can service my laptop in Australia, I was wrong. Sigh.

U300s has not been released in Australia yet, so that is why you can't get it serviced.

But your problem should be addressed with the firmware update, a motherboard replacement is not necessary.

I face this problem sometimes as well. And it doesn't only happen when it's charging. This thing happens pretty randomly as well.

meanwhile, use mouse, it should solve the problem, at least for now. I use mouse while charging, hopefully Lenovo come out with new BIOS asap.
