U450P fan constantly ON OFF!

Well you all not alone.

Its a comun thing with all the idepads, or at least the u450.

In my page this on and off is not all the time, but sometimes in happends. Still is of course sucks if you on a quite place.

... seriously.. what is this for a support?? I mean, is just a Script thing! nothing more nothing less...

This was my first and will be my last notebook from lenovo, because of such bad support.

And everyone willing to buy a lenovo will be warned.

Same problem here, the fan is almost always on... Although it's not loud, more a whisper, together with the hard disk that has a similar problem and a higher pitch, it's annoying - especially as it's a silly problem!

Hi,

some weeks ago Lenovo released BIOS version 35 but it did not solve this issue. This fan cycling still annoys me a lot but obviously Lenovo does not care about it. The U350 has the same problem and a lot more persons complaining but also no solution from Lenovo. My next laptop will be a Dell I think (which is sad because apart from the fan I really like the U450p)

But Fan RUN , RUN, RUN more and more NOISE

Hard Drive RUN ,RUN also = NOISE

NO FULL BIOS to UPGRADE

DONT BUY THIS POOR notebook

It's stupid to sell notebooks with ULV core with always a running fan .

No quiet surf   possible , a simple little javascript on the page and fan run max and NOISE .

No solution : with  no startup program , all services closed ,  minimum graphics résolution  fan always run

If you don't make a bios or driver speedfan control ,it's possible !!!
