Hi,

After checking on thinkpad and edge laptops:
They support in the BIOS:
- "Enable Always On USB"
That's what I need to disable.
Why isn't this available in the ideapad notebooks?
So I now have 2 BIOS feature requests for lenovo:
- "Fn and Ctrl key swap"
- "Enable Always On USB"
Why there's such a difference between ideapad products and thinkpad is beyond me.
I use the Y560 (at least trying) as my primary business laptop.

- "fn and ctrl key swap"
- "enable always pn usb"
press f2 to load bios > configuration > legacy usb support > disabled.

Thanks for the reply
- "enable always pn usb"
press f2 to load bios > configuration > legacy usb support > disabled.
I just checked (Ideapad Y560), unfortunately I don't see that option in the BIOS (v71 - the latest)
From what I remember in the "Configuration" screen there was only ~ 3 options:
...
SATA mode
Intel Virtualisation

Hi, I have the exact same problem. I disabled legacy usb support but it doesn't fix the problem. The usb power is still running even when the system if off. Is there any way to only keep power to certain usb ports? I only need power to one because my mouse is hooked to it and i use it to wake up the computer. Thanks.
