Update video driver

Please advise on potential problems when updating video driver.

I have an Ideapad Y560p, Win7 64-bits, and the ATI Radeon driver in the AMD site has a more recent date compared to the driver supplied by Lenovo and installed in my machine.

Will a return to a previous system restore point recover the original driver?

Y560p issue: system freezes, possible cause video driver.

Please comment on the following.

To install video driver process needs to first uninstall the old one.

Then needs to shut-down and restart windows.

QUESTIOn: will windows restart with no video driver.

windows will restart without any graphic driver installed.
try this: when you see lenovo logo at start-up, press f8 to load "last known good configuration"

Need advice on Y560p to enable play blueray disks.

The Cyberlink player updated itself but stil will not play blue ray disks.
