Veriface/Easy Capture suddenly no longer working

up until now, i have had no significant problems with my Lenovo, but now, when i turned on today after being off all day, it said veriface wasnt working. it tried twice and logged in manually.

easy capture wont open either.

the only thing i can say is last night, when i shut down my machine, no programs were running and all windows were closed.

when i turned on, it said "resuming windows" as if a session was still in progess but none were.

what is all this?

does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

please help!

That's one of those WhatTheHell things that Microsoft is famous for.
Your options:
1)After BIOS post press F8 and choose "last known good configuration"
2)Safe mode+Autoruns and CCleaner (registry repair mode)
3)Recover with NOVA button

I recommend to use hibernation instead of turning off - less problems and much faster than the usual on-off process.

It worked fine now, and last night after a full Norton scan which came up clean.

Im still not convinced or satisfied, but its a start

Its like an old car I once had. Sometimes it made this sound, othertimes it didnt. But just because it wasnt didnt mean everything was fine. Still waiting for the 2nd shoe to drop...but hopefully that wont happen
