Hey, explain it to me i dont have the IR in my hardware manager, and it doesnt respong to my cellphone when i try to connect it. How com it chatches remote signals ? :-D

It doesn't mean it is not present. It is just not in device manager. It can be connected for example via quick buttons controller - why not? So... it is desighned for Lenovo remotes only as i suggest, but no one have seen them for now.

That's what usually happens. If someone needs something working, then it is not working for them while others who don't want something have it working.

I am currently strugling to get my MCE remote working with my idapad y550. Even though the cir is instaled and enabled it is not workin:smileysad:
