When will U110 windows 7 drivers be complete ready?

It has been a month since U330 roll out it's windows 7 drivers (while U110 drivers remain more or less unofficial).

May i know that is it possible for the drivers be tested and post officially into the U110 drivers page? It would be good if we can play with it before Christmas comes.

Now, it has been 5 months since the RTM was released.

And there is still no road map on when the drivers will be out?...

It gotta be kidding...

I bought Lenovo (the ex-IBM) because of its excellent support on legendary hardware. I believe my U110 isnt even a history yet.

I just bought my windows 7, and really wish to know when the drivers will be out asap. Wish the support team would understand our needs...

most of drivers are ready to use for windows 7 both 32 and 64 bit but lenovo need to update download pages.

meaning the old windows vista drivers will work for windows 7?

what i meant is if you download drivers from intel.com, nvidia.com, realtek.com etc... for windows 7 are working but all lenovo download pages aren't still updated.

by the way, if you can't find drivers for windows 7 ( such as camera drivers ), vista drivers may work.

I am having some major problems with Windows 7 and my Lenovo U110.  First it was display driver (fuzzy desktop & DVD's would just stop working and I'd see the BSOD). Then I couldn't download any security patches or anti-virus software.  So after reinstalling the OS and re-formatting my HD, now my internal microphone is not being recognized and the webcam looks horrible.  Any ideas of where to go/what to do??

wow, it's unbelivable how lenovo isn't stepping in and do something about a machine that's just been out for about a year...just freak'n belivable, don't expect more future patronage at this rate..

Most of the drivers for vista are still usable from the cd provided. However, bluetooth may not work properly. webcam sometimes have problem with other software for no obvious reason. (actually very obvious with incompatible driver).

If you have problem with certain driver, can copy to harddisk, then set it to be compatible with windows xp sp3. it should be able to install and function properly.

If it still cant work, go get U330 drivers and try your luck.

Besides the above, the rest are working fine.

Then, when my x31 died, the change of motherboard took only 2 hours and 30 minutes from the time i pass the laptop to the lady at service counter till they called and told me the laptop was ready for collection.

I was surprised.

Now, two months has pass and no admin reply to this.

I am surprised.

U110 is not a mainstream product.

It targets at premium market i believe.

If the after sales service are only for mainstream model,

we understand it, and we will do the corresponding adjustment in our next purchase.

I am waiting for the official drivers, still.

But, not as loyal as before.

May be, i am waiting for my U110 to die as well.

Do what is stated in this tutorial http://www.gilsmethod.com/how_to_resolve_unknown_device_problems. Then paste the device Id's of the drivers you need. If you're using Windows 7 and a certain feature is not working it may be under unknown devices. Or if you have display driver problems but it still somewhat works it will be under display. Paste the device ids and I should be able to find a driver.
