Y430 CD-DVD ROM only read DVD disc

My IdeaPad Y430 CD-DVD ROM only can read DVD disc type.

At 'Device Manager', the driver is said that the driver is up to date.

i altready try to run Windows Fix It, but still only can read DVD type.

i am running Win 7 now. before when i running on Win XP, the CD-DVD ROM is working properly

where i can get the proper driver?

still can't work. Only able to read DVD disc.

to write to CD & DVD also can't. It show window that say to 'insert a disc' into disk drive (even there is a CD / DVD disc in the drive)

try to perform clean windows installation, but possible your dvd is dead. contact lenovo support for replacement for free if you have valid warranty.
