Y450 Startup Problem. Power LED glows for 1 second then goes off

Hi,

I purchased lenovo y450 in dec 2009. laptop is out of warrenty now. Yesterday I tried to start my laptop,then my problem started. The power LED glows for 1 second, It also starts cooloing fan. but then it goes off.

I tried to check laptop by removing RAM, but it also did not work.

I took it to service centre, but they asked me to replace motherboard.

Please help me to solve my problem.

Hello mate,

If there is no beep when you run your laptop without ram, the motherboard is certainely dead and need to be replaced.
