Hello,
I have been trying to switch the default integraded graphic (the Intel(R) HD Graphics Family) to the dedicated graphic (the NVIDIA GeForce GT 550M) and I cannot find the option to do that. My first thought was to check the bios, but there's no option from the Bios that would allow me make this happen. I tried to update my bios, but it seems that the bios I have installed is the latest (47CN27WW(V2.05), yet this "latest" bios is not found on the lenovo support and downloads link.
I then tried to disable the Intel graphic to see if my system would automatically select the NVIDIA graphic but that did not work either.
What am I missing?

*cough* optimus switch *cough*
*sneeze* check user manual *sneeze*
Anyways, what was your question?

My question is not how do I enable the NVDIA graphic to be used. I am seeking to totally disable the integrated graphic card to use the NVDIA graphic card by default.
Switching the Optimus Switch on simply allows the system to automatically use the NVDIA card when needed automatically. That's not what I am trying to accomplish. I want to use the NVDIA card as the active default GPU on the system.
