Hi,
I have a Y480 and I have added an mSata drive in order to use caching to boost performance. The drive is working fine, but I can't figure out how to enable caching in Intel RST.
I think I need to enable RAID in the bios to use RST, but I can't find the option anywhere.
Please Help.
Thanks,
ANkh

Hi Countrywise,
That's a great resource, thank you.
You wouldn't happen to know how to turn the SATA chipset in the Y480 bios to RAID mode, would you?
Thanks,
ANkh

RapidDrive sounds interesting, but it didn't come pre-installed on my laptop. Where would I get it from?

Pls lemme know how it goes, I have never used it but have heard that's what you need to get the mSATA to cache properly.
Please use it carefully

Well I imaged the laptop, and installed the RapidDrive tool. I can't see any sign of RapidDrive on the laptop after installation.
How do you use it normally?
