Hello,
at the begin, sorry for my English.
Yesterday I bought new SSD disk to my notebook and i want to replace the old HDD.
The question is can I use my HDD (sata) via eSata Port with Power Over eSata cable?

Hi
Welcome To Lenovo Community
Please check what is mentioned on the Port, weather it is eSATA or eSATAp
If it is eSATA it will not give any power, if it is eSATAp it will provide 5v/12v
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESATA#External_SATA
Hope This Helps
Cheers!!!

Hi Inscure,
IdeaPad Y560 has one eSATA/USB combo or eSATAp port which supplies 5V/0.5A DC,
but I like to recommend using a Y-cable in any case to have reliable power supply for external HDD.
