Y560 Where is CMOS battery?

Hi guys,

I have a Y560 i5 model and I need to reset my BIOS password.

I was told to remoce the CMOS battery for a while then the BIOS will be reset, but I can't seem to find it. I know its a cylindrical silver thing but I can't actually find it. Did lenovo hide it or siomething?

On the Y550, it's located right around the optical drive connector. As for the Y560, I am unsure. I believe the CMOS battery is in a blue plastic wrapper, with two wires running to a connector on the motherboard.

I couldn't find anything around the optical drive with blue wrappers.is there a chance the jumper or CMOS battery will be under the keyboard? I already unscrewed everything the can be unscrewed at the bottom already but still couldn't find anything.

not sure but it should be under the keyboard. you'll be looking for something like the image below:
