Y560 - display dims unwanted, and doesn't get bright again

I bought a new Y560 - with ATI Graphics

even I set all energy plans to never - at dim display, my display dims automatically after a while, even if I use the computer and I have to readjust it manualy, if I want to have sufficient brightness again

In the Energy Management utility, click the gear above the "?". There should be a third tab that talks about an auto light sensor. Disable it.

I found the light sensor - but in the box left of the ?
and then a second tab besides Battery Health - it's called "Smart Control"

Perfect! Sorry about that, I have a Y550, and it doesn't have that option. Had to rely on memory
