I got an i7 y560 w/o switch graphics one, and lately, its been running constantly high and low, and its just a few days old too. Can anybody help what I can do to reduce this noise?

I recently purchased a Y560 i7 with the radeon graphics. Largely, I have been pleased with the performance so far. Initially I was surprised at how quiet it was. After a few annoying days with the Ambient Light Sensor, I disabled the autodim feature. Unfortunately, it seems as though the fan now runs constantly.
Incidentally, I tried to re-enable the ALS to determine if that was in fact the problem. The fan has continued to run constantly and the ALS does not seem to be functioning.
Anyone experience a similar problem?
UPDATE: The ALS autodim is working

Should I be? Wouldn't the bios 59 would crash my computer and become unresponsive?
