as title, my computer is not connecting to the internet,
saying that it is unable to connect to my router.
My roommates don't seem to have the problems,
so I asume the router is fine.
Plus, it worked just fine in the day before
Computer is connected to the wireless,
and it said the wireless is working properly too.
System restore did not help me,
and resetting the IP did not help me either.
I tried to renew my IP,
but it said something like "its media disconnected"
so I'm wondering if that is the problem.

Did you try rebooting the router, because this happens a lot (one computer can't connect) and a reboot usually fixs it.

my y560 also had that problem, fixed it pernamently by generic wifi drivers.
start->rightclick on computer->manage->device manager on the left side->network adapters.. now write here all that it says there in case you have different wifi device.
I will then give you the link of the latest driver for your wifi. you will install it and problem should be solved.
Maybe you will have to restart wifi router if it has locked a problem to your mac adress, keep that in mind

Hey there!
Please press Fn & F5 simultaneously.
Does a bluetooth and wifi window come up? Please let us know what the settings are.
In order for wifi to work (First of all, please make sure wifi switch is turned on), settings should say:
Current Status : ON Status Settings : OFF
Cheers
